JAMMU, Mar 6: A young woman today succumbed to her burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Shakuntla Devi (27) wife of Ganesh Kumar, a resident of Chhattisgarh, at present living in Swankha, Vijaypur in Samba district, was shifted here at GMCH after she suffered burn injuries at her residence due to unknown reasons.
Today at about 2.30 am, she succumbed to her injuries. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
