MENDHAR, June 21: A 24 years old woman was raped last night when she was on her way back to in-laws home from his father’s home.
According to the reports, Razia Begum, daughter of Aashiq Hussain and wife of Mohd Iqbal (all names changed), resident of Chhajjla, was last night returning from his father’s home when one Farid Ahmed son of Faiz Hussain, resident of Chhajjla along with six others taking advantage of darkness forcefully took the women to the nearby forest and committed rape with her.
This morning, the victim woman along with her family members appeared before the Munsiff Court, Mendhar, on the directions of which a case FIR No 85 under Section 376/366/342/109 RPC was registered at Police Station Mendhar.
The other six accused in the case are identified as Tariq Hussain son of Faiz Hussain, Mohd Ismail son of Mohd Bashir, Mohd Naseer son of Mohd Rafiq, Safeer son of Mohd Rafeeq, Mohd Fayaz son of Mohd Rayaz and Mohd Farooq son of Mohd Rayaz.
