SRINAGAR, Jan 21: Police today solved a murder case in which a woman along with her paramour had killed her husband in Pariswani village of Tangmarg in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
One Mudasir Ahmad Reshi son of Kahzir Mohammad Reshi resident of Pariswani Tangmarg was missing from his home since 15th of January. A day after his missing, the family had registered a missing report in Police Station Kunzer and Police started investigations into his missing. On 18th January the body of deceased was recovered Reram Nallah in Tangmarg.
The SSP Baramulla Abdul Qayoom told a press conference in Baramulla that on 16th of January Police station Kunzer received a written complaint that one person Mudasir Ahmad Reshi Son of Khazir Mohammad Reshi resident of Pariswani is missing.
He said searches were launched to trace the missing man. He said that on today they solved the murder case within in 3 days and have arrested accused duo involved in the killing.
He said during the course of proceeding, the officer investigating the case learnt that two suspects identified as Sumira Begum wife of Mudasir Ahmad and Waseem Ah Reshi resident of Pariswani had hatched a conspiracy to murder the Mudasir.
“During the investigation, the wife of deceased Mudasir Ahmed admitted that she called her husband to reach Reram Nallah where the duo first hit him with stick and later Waseem Ahmad stabbed him with knife”, she said.
The officer said according to case FIR No, 04/2020 under Section 302 IPC was registered at Police station Kunzer and investigation was taken up. He further added that both the accused were taken to custody have admitted of killing him.
