JAMMU, May 14: A married woman today made an abortive attempt on her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in RS Pura
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Surinder Kour (42) wife of Sukhwinder Singh, a resident of RS Pura, consumed some poisonous substance at her residence following which she was shifted to a nearby Government hospital. However, later she was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where her condition was stated to be stable.
However, it was not known why she took this extreme step. The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
