POONCH, Dec 4: A woman was seriously injured after she was attacked by a bear in Sawjian area of tehsil Mandi last night.
The victim was identified as 50-year-old, Saira Begum, wife Ali Mohd, resident of Sawjian. The woman had gone to nearby fields, when the wild beast attacked her causing serious injuries.
She raised alarm and was later rescued by the family members and then shifted to Mandi hospital. The Medical staff after providing treatment at Mandi, referred her to District Hospital, Poonch.
