Srinagar, July 17: A woman from South Kashmir today gave birth to triplets at Valley’s premier maternity care, Lal Ded hospital in Srinagar.
The doctors said that Mehmooda, wife of Riyaz Ahmad of Drabgam, Pulwama gave birth to triplets at the hospital and are doing well.
“They are all in good condition, the triplets are being monitored as well,” the doctors said.
Medical Superintendent Lal Ded Hospital Dr Shabir Sidiqui said that giving birth to triplets is a common scene at the hospital.
He said the credit to the success of such cases goes to the doctors and other assisting staff who work round the clock for better patient care.
