JAMMU, Dec 21: A woman was today found hanging at her residence in RS Pura area of city outskirts.
According to police official, the woman identified as Darshna Devi (50) wife of Ashok Kumar, a resident of Ward No 3, RS Pura, was found hanging in her room this morning.
On getting information from family members, police reached the spot and shifted the dead body of the deceased to mortuary room of Government Hospital, RS Pura, where after conducting autopsy the body was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites.
RS Pura police had registered a case in this connection and started investigations.
