KATRA, Feb 4: A young woman was found under suspicious circumstances near Raghunath Temple in Katra, here today.
The deceased was identified as Meenakshi Devi (23), daughter of Kuldeep Kumar, a resident of Sool, Katra. She was found lying dead near the temple.
On being informed by some locals, a Police party led by SHO Katra, Khyatimaan Khajuria reached the spot and shifted the body to CHC Katra for postmortem and other legal formalities.
Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter for ascertaining cause of death even as there was no external injury mark on the body.
