KATHUA, Mar 15: A woman was electrocuted while cooking meals in her kitchen this evening in village Chandi near Sukhrala Mata falling under the jurisdiction of Billawar Police Station.
She has been identified as Bimla Devi, 32, W/O Bittu. She was rushed to SDH Billawar where doctors declared her as brought dead. Her body has been kept in mortuary and it will be handed over to family members after postmortem tomorrow.
The Billawar Police has registered a case under Section 174 RPC and started inquest proceedings.
