Srinagar, July 14: A woman today died while a man was injured when a Chinar tree fell on them at Sunday Market this afternoon.
Ameet Gupta, 45, wife of Sandeep Gupta of Talab Tillo, Jammu died here when a heavy branch of Chinar tree fell on her at Sunday Market near De Linz Restaurant. Her husband is an employee of Transport Department in Civil Secretariat Srinagar.
Another person Abdul Rashid Shah of Banihal was injured in the incident. He was shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatment.
