UDHAMPUR, Mar 20: A housewife was buried alive when wall of her mud house collapsed at village Barrian, Battal Ballian in Udhampur.
According to the reports, Sandya Devi (30), wife of Ajay Sharma, resident of village Barrian, Battal Ballian was giving bath to her child when a wall of the mud house suddenly collapsed. Even as the mother saved the child by pushing him away, she could not save herself.
Family members rushed to the spot and took Sandya Devi to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared her as brought dead.
