UDHAMPUR, Sept 13: A middle aged woman died while two others were injured when a mound of earth fell on them while digging soil at village Rang in Ramnagar, this evening.
The trio came under the mound of earth that caved in resulting into on the spot death one Vaishno Devi (50), wife of Late Shankru, resident of village Rang Tehsil Ramnagar.
Two others, identified as Soma Devi (46), wife of Sheru and Raju (36), son of Gian Chand, both residents of village Rang, Tehsil Ramnagar, sustained injuries in the mishap. They have been shifted to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar and their condition was stated to be out of danger.
