SAMBA, Aug 23: A woman died on spot after she was hit by Pooja Express which was on way from Delhi to Jammu this morning at Ghagwal Railway track.
The passers by saw her body lying on the railway track and they informed the police. The police immediately reached the spot and shifted the dead body to hospital for post-mortem.
The incharge of Hiranagar Police Station, S I, Abdul Rashid said that the woman has been identified as Nirmala Devi, 65, wife of Chhaju Ram of Randwal. The dead body was handed over to family after post-mortem. The police has registered a case under relevant sections of the law in this regard.
