RAJOURI, Dec 9: A young woman was killed after she got trapped in an `Atta Chakki’ in Manjakote area of district Rajouri today.
The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Razia Begum, wife of Mohd Afsar, resident of village Patnara in Manjakote. The woman had gone to the `Atta Chakki’ for grinding food grains. As she was throwing grains into the big funnel fitted at the top of the machine (Chakki), a corner of her `Dupatta’ got trapped into it. Her `Dupatta’ became noose for her and it gagged her neck badly. She got trapped and killed on the spot.
The police reached the spot after coming to know about the incident. It shifted the body of the deceased to Manjakote hospital and registered a case in this connection.
