JAMMU, Aug 17: A 45-year-old woman, who yesterday consumed some poisonous substance at her home in Ramnagar area of Udhampur district, died today here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police official, the woman identified as Jyoti wife of Kuldeep Kumar and resident of Ramnagar, was shifted to GMCH Jammu, yesterday after she consumed some poisonous substance.
“Today at about 3 PM, she breathed her last. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital while the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter”, he added.
