JAMMU, Oct 2: A woman made an abortive attempt on her life by consuming some poisonous substance at Bishnah area of the city outskirts.
As per reports, Anju, wife of Harbans Lal of Bishnah, allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her home. Noticing her unconscious, family members shifted her to Bishnah hospital, from where, she was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
At GMC Hospital, she was responding to the treatment, when last reports poured in.
However, the reason behind such extreme step could not be ascertained yet, while, police has registered a case and investigation started.
