UDHAMPUR, Oct 2: A monthly meeting of J&K Ex-Services League (JKESL) was organised here under the chairmanship of District president of JKESL, Dalbir Singh Bhatyal to discuss the grievances of the Ex-servicemen.
Addressing a large gathering of Ex-servicemen and Veer Naries, Bhatyal told the gathering about the memorandum submitted to Major General, AK Sehgal, GOC HQ71 Sub Area, and one copy of the memorandum to Lt Gen KT Parnaik, GOC-in-Chief, Northen Command through Col Anil Gurung (AAG) HQ 71 Sub Area.
Col Anil Gurung had assured that each and every effort would be made to solve the problems of Ex-servicemen community, he informed the gathering. The same copy of memorandum had also been sent to Maj Gen Goverdhan Singh Jamwal, AVSM (Retd), he added.
The JKESL District vice-president, Arjan Singh, thanked GOC-in Chief, Nothern Command for his contribution towards the welfare of Ex-servicemen fraternity.
In the end, Bhatyal assured the Ex-servicemen community that their problems would be forwarded to the concerned authorities for their solution.
Kulbhushan Singh, Kirat Singh, Tirath Ram Sharma, Ram Lal, Madan Lal, Kulbir Singh, Rattan Lal, Sham Lal, Karnail Singh, Rajbir Singh , Dev Singh Mastana, Geeta Devi and many others also attended the meet.
