RAMBAN, Dec 11: A woman was killed after a dumper beheaded her while vomiting from a window of a bus here today.
As per police sources, a woman identified as Kavita Devi (40), wife of Hardeep Singh, a resident of Sujmasta Ukhral was traveling in the bus from Ukhral to Jammu, when she was beheaded by a dumper while vomiting from the window of the bus near bus stand here.
The dumper driver accelerated the vehicle and escaped from the spot.
The profusely bleeding lady was rushed to District Hospital Ramban, where doctors declared her as brought dead.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body of the deceased lady has been handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Ramban Police Station and hunt has been launched to arrest the dumper driver.
No arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
