JAMMU, June 14: Arnia police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a woman long with illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Arnia Police Station conducted raid in village Kothey Salehar and apprehended a lady along with 15 litres of illicit liquor. The police also destroyed the illicit liquor manufacturing still and 80 litres of lahan.
The arrested lady has been identified as Neelam Kumari, wife of Surjeet Kumar, a resident of Kothey Salehar.
A case under FIR Number 36/18 under relevant Sections has been registered at Arnia Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Arnia Inspector Deepak Pathania made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Sourabh Prashar, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
