JAMMU, Sept 7: Three persons including a woman have been arrested along with large quantity of illicit liquor from villages Nandpur Tibba and Joian, falling under the jurisdiction of Bishnah police station.
As per police sources, on specific information, a police team conducted raid in Nandpur Tibba village and arrested two brothers identified as Ajay Kumar alias Pappi and Rajesh Kumar alias Kaka, sons of Balbir Singh, resident of Nandpur Tibba along with 25 litres of illicit liquor. Police team also destroyed 100 litres of lahan.
During raid at village Joian, police apprehended a lady identified as Ayodhya Devi, wife of Bachan Lal along with 2 litres of illicit liquor.
Cases under FIR Numbers 191/17 and 192/17 have been registered at Bishnah police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
