JAMMU, Dec 18: Before the Winter vacation from January 7, last working day in all the Government as well as private schools in Summer Zone of Jammu division shall be January 4, 2018.
A clarification in this regard was issued today by the School Education Department, which had earlier ordered that January 5 shall be the last working day and the Winter vacations shall be observed with effect from January 7 to January 16, 2018.
“Please read 04-01-2018 instead of 05-01-2018, appearing in the 2nd line (part) of Para-I, of the Government Order number 955-Edu of 2018, dated 17-12-2018,” says the fresh order, issued today by the Secretary School Education Department.
