Jammu, Jan 7: Natrang’s much awaited Winter Theatre Workshop for Children-2019 was inaugurated here today at Natrang studio theatre with the lighting of traditional lamp by Natrang Director, Balwant Thakur.
In his inaugural address, Natrang Director, Padamshree Balwant Thakur said that this unique camp would provide opportunity to children to enable them to explore their immense inner creative and artistic abilities.
The timings of the camp will be 3 pm to 5 pm daily and the children will have the occasion to get trained under professionally trained directors including accomplished actors and directors like Neeraj Kant, Anil Tickoo, Sumeet Sharma and Gauri Thakur.
During the winter camp, the children will learn and explore their self through highly developed theatre exercises which are in vogue in Europe and USA.
Those who attended the inaugural session of Children Winter Theatre workshop included Aaria Zia Sharma, Suhani Gupta, Abhinandan Nangla, Aahana Sharma, Chaitanya Sharma, Aditya Jadhan, Samakshya Gupta, Kushan Baliya, Palshin Dutta, Love Bali, Aditri Dewan, Samaaira Dewan, Lavanya Gupta, Arnav Gupta, Sanvi Anand, Asma Gul, Petunia Singh, Arshiya Singh, Mannan Soni, Mannat Soni, Anah Sharma, Devish Gour, Samarth Katyal, Shristi Kapoor, Aviral Kapoor, Sujal Sharma, Soujanya Shekhar and Sanchi Dutta. Today’s inaugural session was conducted by Gauri Thakur.
