JAMMU, Dec 25: Natrang is going to organize Winter children’s theatre camp from December 28 at Natrang Studio Theatre, Jammu.
This was informed by Natrang director Balwant Thakur during a press briefing, here today.
Giving details, he informed that Natrang is organizing this  theatre workshop of nine days  from  December 28 with culmination on January 5.  The timings of the camp will be 11 am to 1 pm daily and the children will have the occasion to get trained under professional trained directors, he added.
“A short theatre play will also be produced during the course of the training. Children between the age of 7 to 14 will be considered for this rarest training programme,” Balwant Thakur said.
Theatre is one of the most effective medium of personality development and self exploration. Its immense power enables a child to imbibe self confidence and infuses lot of abilities which empower him/her to excel in every field, he explained.
Through workshops and exclusive training programmes an effort has been made to popularize this art amongst children who cannot make an independent choice and all depends on the taste and aptitude of the parents,  Balwant Thakur said and appealed to the parents to take  benefit of this rarest opportunity and get trained their children in the art of theatre.
