Srinagar, Nov 9: The Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, G N Itoo, today said they will take action against schools charging admission and miscellaneous fee from students in district Baramulla.
He held a meeting with the private schools at Dak Baglow Baramulla wherein schools’ representatives were asked to refrain from charging admission or annual fee from the students.
He said the meeting was called after receiving several complaints from parents. “We had received complaints that some of the private schools were charging huge of money as admission or miscellaneous fee from the students. We discussed the issue with the management and principals of the private schools and reminded them about the government orders regarding it”, he said.
He added charging miscellaneous and admission was against the government order and stern action would be taken against the violators.
