Srinagar, Nov 5: Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Minority Morcha Chief today said that the party will eliminate terror and family rule from J&K once and for all and will work for peace and development in the Union Territory.
National President, Minority Morcha Haji Jamal Siddiqui, who is on a visit to J&K on the directions of Party President Jagat Prakash Nadda, while addressing a press conference here said that he has started the visit from J&K and the people of J&K should not feel alone at all.
He also said that the separatist forces should understand that J&K is very important for the BJP and will make sure that terrorism is eliminated.

“I want to tell it to the separatist forces here that the J&K is very important to the party. Our people in J&K are not alone, the entire country stands with the people of J&K,” Siddiqui said.
He condemned the recent attacks on BJP activists and said: “Condemning such incidents and expressing solidarity with our people is also the aim of my visit.”
He also assured that the BJP activists need not worry as everyone will be provided with a security cover. “There is no need for our fellow workers to worry; everyone will be provided security cover,” he said.
“I want to tell those people (who have killed BJP activists) that you might run out of bullets, but we will continue to stand,” he said.
He said that BJP will maintain the image of heaven (Kashmir) around the world and has been prioritizing development in J&K, adding that nationalism and patriotism has increased here over the period and it will inspire the party to achieve the goals that it has set.
“We will succeed in eliminating terror from J&K as well as the family rule. We will succeed in maintaining the image of heaven for the Kashmir is known worldwide,” he said.
He said that the Minority Morcha team has been set up in Kashmir will make sure that they reach the grassroots with the schemes put out by the Government and will also make sure that the problems faced by the people are conveyed to the centre.
“The team that has been formed here will work on the ground level and will make efforts take the schemes of the Government to the grassroots and also get to know the problems faced on the ground and take up those problems with the centre,” he said.
While commenting over other political parties in J&K such as National Conference and People’s Democratic Party, Siddiqui said that these parties had to put something on display to show it to people.
“Otherwise, they have got nothing in hand which they could have taken to people,” he said.
