SRINAGAR : Close on the heels of reports that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and BJP are ready to make a breakthrough in formation of a coalition government in the Jammu and Kashmir, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said people are now waiting to see which party will compromise on issues raised during electioneering.

Exactly a month since the election results were declared & the state is doing ‘kadam taal’ because Mufti Syed can’t govern without Delhi nod, Mr Abdullah said. Jammu and Kashmir is under Governors rule after no party or coalition came forward to form a government though the NC, which has 15 members, and Congress with 12 members besides three others have extended their unconditional support to PDP which emerged single largest party with 28 members in the 87-member House.
