Sir,
Gazing at the imponderable condition of roads with ever escalating snarls is certainly a matter causing concern. It seems as if the city is crawling particularly during the peak hours. Adding fuel to the fire is the rash and reckless driving of youths as they ply vehicles in a quite irresponsible manner leading to life craving fumbles and ultimately trespassing all the traffic principles. In addition to this, the condition of some of the busiest roads is highly deplorable. Although the govt. has taken all the requisite measures, yet the folks of the place are not perceiving it as mandatory. The lenient behaviour of traffic police is adding last nail in the coffin.
The desperate need of the hour is the vigilant and strict outlook of concerned authorities as the legacy still belongs to local administration.
