JAMMU, Apr 28: General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General P K Mishra, today visited Dogrian area in Poonch district to review the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness of troops.
During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on the counter-terrorism grid, intelligence network and coordination among various security agencies to maintain peace and stability in the area.
He reviewed the readiness and effectiveness of forces deployed in the region.
The GOC White Knight Corps also interacted with troops and appreciated their high morale, professionalism and commitment towards safeguarding the nation.
He stressed the need for constant vigilance, disciplined conduct and continued preparedness to ensure security in hinterland areas.
