KATHUA, Aug 19: West Pakistani refugee celebrated the scrapping of Article 370 and 35A from J&K and said with this decision of Union Government led by Narendra Modi they got justice after 72 years. The West Pakistani refugee led by the president of organization, Labha Ram Gandhi took out a victory rally and danced to the drum beats at College road Kathua in support of Government decision.
While addressing the rally Labha Ram Gandhi said that it is a day of happiness for West Pak refugees as their all worries and problems they were subjected to over last seven decades have ended. This is the occasion to celebrate as West Pakistani refugee got freedom from Kashmiri dominance after 72 years, he added.
He said the conspiracy made by then Prime Minister of India Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru and the NC leader and former Chief Minister of J&K, Shiekh Mohammed Abdullah deprived our community of citizenship rights which led to their discrimination in all fields of life.
He complimented Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Home Minister, Amit Shah for taking such bold and historical step to scrap the Article 370 and 35-A and opening the doors of freedom for them . He said “we got the justice after 72 years and now we feel free. Now our generation will get all rights including citizenship and other genuine rights”.

He said nearly 20,000 families of West Pakistani refugee living in different parts of Jammu will get justice and have right to live, right to citizenship, right to education, right to employment and right to vote. On the occasion Chhajju Singh, Yash Pal, Balak Ram , Gopal Dass also spoke on the occasion.
