Weinmann’s new technology of life support system launched in J&K

JAMMU,  Aug 30: J&K Healthcare Services a business partner of German Company Weinmann dealing in Medical Equipment & Health Care Technology today launched its new product Medumat a single life support device containing ventilator, defibrillator and monitor.
This three in one life support device was launched for the first time in J&K while its world wide launch also took place this month.
This was stated at a joint press conference by Allen joy Product Specialist for life support system of Weinmann its South Asia Business Associate P K Zalpuri and head of J&K Health Services Nigam Gupta while talking to reporters here today.
Mr Gupta said new product is directly imported from foreign manufacturers. He said the product is cheaper than the three separate life support equipments which cost Rs 15 lakh for a customer while the new product of three devices costs from Rupees six to seven lakh only. This latest equipment is developed by German company Weinmann, he added.
He said it has been observed that many times the people who met accidents are brought dead in hospitals and the new technology which will be fitted in mobile ambulances can prove viable for such accident victims as first hour of accident is very crucial for the victims.
He said such technology is fitted in PM’s, President of India’s ambulances also and the company has over 1000 installations in India.
He said the company has organised the road shows for last two days at Batra Hospital and GMC Hospital here besides demonstrating the product at a function at K C Residency today.
The Company also plans to hold such road shows in Kashmir shortly, he added.
