JAMMU: Union Minister in Prime Minister’s Office Dr Jitendra Singh on Tuesday said that people of India are eternally indebted to the Indian Army.
“We are eternally indebted to Indian Army and can never repay for their sacrifices and services,” Dr Singh said on the sidelines of 3-day “Vision 2018” exhibition at Udhampur.
He said, “It is because of them that we are able to carry on with our daily routine, as per our wishes, because they are there to guard us against any threat from within or outside.”
The Minister was replying to the queries on Shopian firing incident in which two civilians lost their lives during clashes. (AGENCIES)
