JAMMU, July 25: The Working Committee of Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party today approved the 25-point action programme with regard to the establishment of two separate States Kashmir and Jammu.
In a special working committee meeting of the party held here under the chairmanship of Harshdev Singh, former Minister; 25-point action programme presented by Prof Bhim Singh, the founder of JKNPP was moved by Prof Singh before the Working Committee which approved the ‘twin states’ plan for J&K to establish Jammu Pradesh and Kashmir Valley with full statehood status.
While presenting 25-point plan Prof Singh said that this is the road map for the twin states, Kashmir Valley and Jammu Pradesh for the permanent resolution of resolving the inner conflict in J&K. So that the residents of Jammu Pradesh including 15 lakhs refugees from Pak & PoK shall get comprehensive settlement, delimitation of Assembly constituencies is held for adequate representation to all sections of people of Jammu Pradesh.
Prof Bhim Singh said that ‘twin state’ formula is acceptable to the residents of both the regions as it shall foster the relationship between the twin states and peace shall be returned to the people of J&K.
He announced that a meeting of the prominent citizens, civil society and people’s noted representatives shall be convened on August 22, 2015 to seek the public opinion on twin states.
Earlier, in the late evening Prof Singh while addressing the volunteers of Young Panthers, demanded cooperation of the people to oppose, expose and finally depose the corrupt and criminal alliance Government comprising BJP and PDP in J&K. He said that twin state plan is the best way out to achieve this objective.
Those who attended the meeting included Harshdev Singh, Balwant Singh Mankotia, SS Jamwal, PK Ganjoo, Anita Thakur, Yashpaul Kundal and Bansi Lal Sharma.
