Jammu, Oct 16: Commissioner JMC, Kiran wattal along with Health officer, MVO, XEN (T), AEE Electrical, Food safety officers and other sanitation staff visited Panama chowk, Shiva ji market near Railway station on the demand of president Market Association Rakesh Kumar and others.
Commissioner JMC listened the problems of Shiva ji Market Association with regard to sanitation, street light, nallah desalting, encroachments of foot path etc and issued on spot direction to the concerned officers for the immediate redressal of public problems.
The Chief transport officer of JMC was directed to install 4 number bins in the Shiva Ji Market. The AEE (E) was directed to immediately repair the street lights and install one number of High Mast Light. The XEN (T) and CTO were directed to desalt the nallah and get necessary repair done as per requirement. Mr Wattal also directed MVO and CTO to use the team of clean up Jammu to make the area neat and clean from Bikram chowk to Rly station.
He also appealed to the general public that house hold waste may be properly got collected and disposed of at collection points and Municipal Bins through safaikaramchari to ensure proper cleanliness in their respective localities and to make Jammu city neat and clean
