JAMMU, Aug 8: Due to heavy flood in river Tawi today and high turbidity, the pumping has been affected at Sitlee, Dhounthly and Boria filtration plants with a result water supply to various parts will remain affected tomorrow.
According to SE PHE Mechanical Urban Circle Jammu Sunil Kumar Gupta the areas to remain affected are parts of Old City, Rehari, Janipur, New Plot, Subash Nagar, Sarwal, Roop Nagar, Bantalab, Kamal Keran, Chinore, Sainik Colony, Bhatindi, Channi Himmat and other areas.
Public is requested to use water judiciously.
