JAMMU, May 25: Alleging no water supply in their area, inhabitants of Vishal Nagar, Mandir Lane have appealed the Chief Engineer PHE to replace the old supply line in the locality with new one for smooth water supply.
Residents of the locality said that they have been facing the water scarcity for the last two as the houses in tail end were not getting supply because of old pipes, which have not been replaced since decades.
Even as the matter was repeatedly brought into the notice of concerned authorities, no action was taken to redress the problem, they lamented and urged the Chief Engineer PHE to order immediate replacement of old pipes for ensuring smooth supply of drinking water.
