Warm send off accorded to retiring employees

JAMMU, Oct 31: Several Police officials and officers of J&K Government retired from their services after attaining the age of superannuation, here today.
A farewell party was given to Romesh Pandotra, SP Administration ZPHQ Jammu by a staff member of Zonal Police Headquarter Jammu which was organized by ADGP Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh. The officer retired from the service on superannuation after rendering more than 38 years of distinguished service in the Police Department. During his service, he served the department in various capacity and remained posted in District Jammu, Kathua, Udhampur, PCR, Jammu, CID Hqrs J&K, JKAP 4th Bn Security, APHQ J&K, SSG J&K, IRP 11th Bn, PTTI Vijaypur, RPHQ Udhampur and SP Adm ZPHQ Jammu.
Dr Vijay Gupta retired from active service after 32 years of service. He has worked in various capacities. He retired from the post of Professor and Head, Department of ENT. He also served as officiating Principal, Government Medical College Rajouri. Dr Ravinder Malhotra, HOD Physiology, Registrar (Physiology), Dr Samreen Javaid and other faculty members recalled his contribution during his tenure and wished him a prosperous post retirement life.
A warm farewell was accorded to Dr Suresh Bhat, Head of Department Chemistry of Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Govt PG College for Women Gandhi Nagar on his superannuation. He has rendered more than 30 years in teaching and made a great contribution as a teacher in the holistic growth of students in person and Institution in general. Prof. Minu Mahajan, College Principal wished him happy, healthy and contented post-retirement life ahead. The faculty members shared their experiences and happy moments spent together in the Institution with the rosary of words and music.
SKUAST-Jammu today accorded a warm farewell to the retiring employees in a function held at Baba Jitto Auditorium, Chatha, wherein Prof J P Sharma, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu was the chief guest along with other faculty members. The Vice Chancellor honoured Dr A K Mondal, Dean Faculty of Agriculture, Babu Ram, Account Officer, FVSc & AH and Ravinder Kumar Bhat FCLA Division of Entomology for their contribution in their respective fields and wished them a healthy and happy post retired life.
A warm Farewell was accorded to Akashay Kumar Choudhary, Project Officer and Ravi Sharma, SMS II by the Agriculture Department Jammu on their superannuation for rendering dedicated services to department concerned. The Director of Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Jammu, KK Sharma wished the retiring officers a very happy, healthy and prosperous post retirement life. Meanwhile, Shami Kumar, Mushroom Development officer Doda also attained the age of superannuation after rendering 34 years of meritorious service in the department.
A rousing farewell was accorded to Executive Engineer, Suresh Sharma and Assistant Registrar, Anju Gupta of Jammu University by the Jammu University Non Teaching Employees on their superannuation and recalled their contribution in different capacity for the University. The function was attended by the University employees, friends and relatives of the retirees.
ASI Nazir Ahmed was given a warm farewell by the SSP Khalil Ahmed Poswal, Principal PTTI Vijaypur and his colleagues for rendering more than 40 years of unblemished service to the Police department. The SSP, Sajjad Ahmad Khan, DySP (Indoor/PIO), Satish Kumar, DySP (Admn/Outdoor), Kuldeep Kumar, DySP (Tech.) Inspector Pawan Parihar (RI/CDI) and others wished him best of luck for post retirement life.
Daleep Kumar Atri, Executive Engineer retired after attaining the age of superannuation today from O/o Survey Investigation Division Town Planning Organization, Jammu. All the officers/officials of the Town Planning Organization gave him a warm farewell and wished for his energetic post retirement life.
Staff of Government Girls HSS Nowshera accorded warm send off to Principal Anil Kumar Gujral for attaining superannuation after rendering 41 years service to School Education Department as teacher, Lecturer, ZEO and Principal. He was associated with All J&K Plus 2 Officers Association and active member of the Saksham District Rajouri. All the office bearers of the Association and School managements, staff gave best wishes to him for post retirement life.
A warm send off accorded to Master Gharu Ram on his superannuation by staff members of Govt Middle School Kalakam Zone Bhalwal. He rendered 30 years of service to the department. The colleague wished him a happy and healthy life in future.
The Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) today accorded an affectionate adieu to Neena Jamwal and Senior Mechanic, Ravi Kumar on their superannuation after rendering dedicated service in the department. The Joint Director Information Headquarter, Naresh Kumar and Joint Director, Jammu, Sapna Kotwal wished them a happy and prosperous post retirement life.
Deputy Director Information (HQ), Dr. Rehana Akhtar Bijli, Deputy Director Information (PR) and others were present during the event.
Meanwhile, the Joint Director of Information Kashmir, Inam ul Haq Siddiqui also accorded a warm farewell to Cameraman, Shahid Hussain Mir on his superannuation after rendering dedicated service in the department and highlighted the contribution of the official towards the department and congratulated him on attaining superannuation.
Government Medical College Jammu accorded warm send-off to Dr ADS Manhas on his retirement in the Committee Hall of GMC Jammu. Dr Shashi Sudhan Sharma, Principal and Dean said that Dr ADS Manhas is known for his commitment, dedication, discipline, punctuality and administrative capabilities and wished him happy, prosperous and healthy future life. . He has an unblemished service record of 25 years, said Dr Shashi.
Jammu Police hosted an impressive farewell function in District Police Line to bid adieu to the officers namely SI Jaswant Singh PID, ASI Swaran Singh, ASI Krishan Lal and L/Foll. Surinder Kour who superannuated from their active services, today.
The send-off function was chaired by SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli, flanked by SP Hqrs Jammu Ramnish Gupta, DySP DAR DPL Jammu KD Bhagat and others. He congratulated the retiring officers for the dedication and devotion they exhibited while discharging their duties and wished them good health and long life for the next phase of their life.
