Warm send off accorded to retirees

JAMMU, Dec 31: Staff and officers of Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu accorded warm and affectionate farewell to Kulbushan Singh Sambyal, Joint Director of Agriculture (Inputs) Jammu who retired today after rendering 37 years of service to the Department.
Director of Agriculture Jammu, HK Razdan, speaking on the occasion, wished him a very healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
Warm wishes were also extended to other retiring officers and staff of the department namely AK Dubey (Project Officer CAD, Jammu), Ravinder Kumar Gupta (SMS II, Reasi), Vijay Kumar Verma (SMS II, Jammu), Anil Fotedar (SMS-II, Rajouri), R K Sharma (Apiculture Development Officer, Rajouri), Ajit Kumar (AEO, Reasi), Rattan Singh (JAEO, Samba), Pawan Bala, Accountant ADO (Veg) Jammu, Nisar Ahmad (Field Assistant, Doda), Bahar Din (Field Assistant, Reasi), Sham Lal (Compost Inspector, Rajouri), Radhay Sham Gupta (Chauffeur, Govt Agriculture Workshop, Jammu) and Rattan Chand (Jamadar, Udhampur).
Department of Public Works today held a function to bid an affectionate farewell to Development Commissioner Works Satish Razdan, who attained superannuation after rendering years of service. Commissioner Secretary, Public Works (R&B), Khurshid Ahmad Shah, Engineers of the department and other officers and officials of R&B were present on the occasion. All of them wished the retiring officer a happy and prosperous post-retirement life.
The Department of Horticulture Jammu accorded warm and affectionate adieu to Kirtan Singh Raina Chief Horticulture Officer Jammu and Khem Raj, Horticulture Technician, who attained the age of superannuation today after rendering 36 and 27 years of active service for the welfare of farming community in the department of Horticulture Jammu. All the officers wished the retiring officials a healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
In order to bid farewell to Ali Mohammad Dar, Conservator of Forests who attained superannuation today, a farewell party was organized in his honor at Van Bhawan Forest Complex Jammu. Principal Chief, Conservator of Forests, Suresh Chugh and other officers and officials of the Department wished the retiring officer good health and prosperous post retirement life.
Nasier Ahmad Kitchloo, Joint Director, State Forest Research Institute, and acclaimed wildlife expert who attained superannuation from services today was given a befitting farewell at a function organized in the State Forest Research Institute. Om Prakash Sharma, Director, State Forest Research Institute, Samuel Chagnikga, Conservator of Forests, Research Circle, Jammu and other officers extended greetings and all-around success to the retiring officer in future.
The NCC Cadets of Government MAM College organized a farewell party for the Principal of Government MAM College Jammu, Dr Romesh Chander who retired today. Major Dr Karan Singh, president, J&K Associate NCC Officer Welfare Association and NCC cadets of the College wished the retiring Principal a happy, healthy and prosperous retired life.
Deputy SP-S, Mohammad Yusuf and ASI Ashok Kumar were given a warm send off by Police Headquarters at a function organized here today. IGP Personnel, JP Singh, AIG Building, Shailender Singh, and other officers assured the retiring officers that even after their retirement from the active service the officers and personnel will remain on their back and call. He wished them healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
Kathua Police today gave warm send off to five retiring police officers and officials namely SI Rattan Chand, SI Rashpaul Singh, ASI Prabh Dayal, ASI Rajinder Singh and HC Mohan Lal. The send off function was chaired by Nasir Ahmed, Additional and other senior officers. Members of Retired Police Welfare Association were also present. All those present on the occasion wished good health and long life to all retirees.
District Information Centre, Anantnag today organized a farewell party for Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, who served as the Chauffeur at District Information Centre, Anantnag. Mushtaq, who today attained the age of superannuation, served the department for more than 37 years. The function was attended by the Join Director Information Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, District Information Officer, other senior officers and officials of the JDIK and DIC.
PHE Sub Division Kishtwar today organized a farewell party for Mohammad Iqbal Shah, Work Supervisor who today retired from his services after serving the department for more than 35 years. Similarly, Mohammad Iqbal Wani of Dachhan Kishtwar and Headmaster Mohinder Singh retired from Judiciary & Education Department, respectively. Officials of both the department organized farewell for both the retirees.
