JAMMU, Dec 31: Dr K.C Sharma, son of the soil has been awarded ‘Dr Jagdishwari Mishra Oration Award’ for his innovations in surgery and medicine in relation to Obstetrics and Gynecology.
The award was given during 93rd All India Medical Conference of Indian Medical Association held at Bangaluru on Dec 27 and 28 under the chairmanship of Dr. Ravi Wankhedkar, National President & Dr. R.N Tandon, Secretary General.
Dr Sharma demonstrated six new innovations related to Obstetrics and Gynecology including two new techniques in ultrasonography useful for detecting causes of infertility in males as well as females and also effects of quantity of urine present in fetal urinary bladder and its effects at full term in later life.
