Warm farewell accorded to retirees

JAMMU, Apr 30: The employees from various departments today accorded warm farewell in the different functions held here today.
Director Youth Service and Sports JK UT Subash Chander Chibber accorded warm send off to Kharati Lal, District Youth Servicers and Sports Officer Jammu on his superannuation here today.
In this regard a programme was organised by the officials of District Youth Services and Sports Office Jammu with pomp and show.
During the programme, the outgoing DYSSO thanks all the staff members, ZPEO’s and other officials for their love and affection towards the chair.
Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu Ved Parkash gave him best wishes for the second phase of his life.
Among others who graced the event included Deputy Director Planning Ravi Kumar Sharma, Accounts Officer Sunil Kumar, ZPEO Bishnah, ZPEO Satwari, ZPEO Gandhi Nagar, ZPEO Jammu, ZPEO Marh, ZPEO Khour and ZPEO Jourian.
Meanwhile, a warm farewell was extended to Sunil Bhat, Senior Manager, on his Retirement at Ellaquai Dehati Bank Area Office Jammu here today.
Bhat retired after a remarkable tenure spanning over 38 years of service to the institution.
In a touching ceremony, colleagues gathered to reminisce about their cherished moments with the retiring official, recalling his dedication, sincerity, and impeccable service throughout his tenure. Area Manager, along with others, shared memories & the bond they share with the retiring officer.
Acknowledging his contributions to the Bank, Chairman and General Managers expressed their appreciation for Bhat’s unblemished services.
They wished him sound health and happiness in his retirement life.
A similar function was also organised by Crime Branch Jammu here today.
During the function warm send off was accorded to the retiring officers including, SI Surinder Mohan and ASI (P) Charanjit Lal.
On behalf of J&K Police and particularly Crime Branch J&K, SSP Crime Jammu, Benam Tosh wished the retiring officers happy, prosperous & healthy post retirement life and advised them to work for the welfare and betterment of society in days to come so that their varied experiences and knowledge acquired over the decades could be utilised in productive manner.
Retiring officers – SI Surinder Mohan & ASI (P) Charanjit Lal belong to Udhampur and Doda Districts respectively and are known for their dedication and commitment to the duties having put in over three decades of unblemished and exemplary services in J&K Police in various capacities.
Senior officers of Executive and Prosecution spoke on the occasion and appreciated the services rendered by the retiring officers throughout their careers in J&K Police, especially in Crime Branch J&K.
Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu (SKUAST-J) today accorded a warm farewell to the retiring employees at a function held here at Conference Hall, SKUAST-J Chatha.

The staff and officers of the Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu, accorded a warm and affectionate farewell to Sanyog Kotru, Deputy Director Agriculture (Central) Jammu, Dhanater Singh Manhas, Subject Matter Specialist-l (RL), and Yash Pal Singh Multani, Senior Foreman, who retired today after rendering more than 30 years of service to the Department.

Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur today organized an impressive farewell function upon the superannuation of Assistant Sub Inspector Kala Singh, on the completion of his 39 years of services in Jammu and Kashmir Police.

A warm farewell was organised by the staff of Seed Multiplication Farm, Chinore, on the superannuation of Satpal Bhardwaj, Field Assistant, who retired today after rendering 38 years of active services on different posts in Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare Department.
The Deputy Commissioner of Doda, Harvinder Singh, led a heartfelt celebration to honour the retirement of two dedicated engineers from the Public Works Department (PWD), Ram Paul Gupta and Niaz Ahmed, after 36 years of committed service.
Ram Paul Gupta, who retired as Superintending Engineer from the PWD (R&B) Circle Doda-Kishtwar at Doda, served in various capacities, from Junior Engineer to Superintending Engineer, across multiple wings of the department.
His colleagues and superiors praised his unwavering dedication and significant contributions throughout his career.
Niaz Ahmed, an Assistant Engineer with the PWD (R&B) Division Doda, also retired after 36 years of service, having held roles including Junior Engineer, Assistant Executive Engineer, and Assistant Engineer in different wings of the PWD (R&B) Department.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including the CEO of the Bhaderwah Development Authority (BDA), Bal Krishan.
Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh extended his best wishes to both engineers for a fulfilling post-retirement life, acknowledging their hard work and dedication to the service.
84 Bn organized farewell function for Second Commandant CRPF Yashpal Thapa at TAC Hq Ramban. He served the great Force CRPF for 34 years.
Beginning from his first posting in Insurgency affected Manipur, he served in different parts of the country like Assam, J&K, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal.
He served in Elite Commando Force NSG, for 05 years. After a glorious career, he is retiring on 30 Apr 24. During his career he was awarded 9 times DG Disc Medal, President Medal for Meritorious Services besides this he also conducted 4 times Shri Amarnath ji Yatra in Ramban.
While speaking during the function, N Ranbir Singh Commandant 84 Bn extended warm wishes to the officer and his family for a happy and healthy post retirement life. A memento was also presented to the outgoing officer.
Attaining the age of superannuation after serving the Department of Youth Services and Sports for 35 long years, Zonal Physical Education (Reasi), Ram Krishan Bhat was accorded a warm farewell here today.
The function was held under the overall supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Reasi, Tarsem Singh.
On the occasion, the speakers appreciated the contribution of Zonal Physical Officer Reasi in the field of Sports and Physical Education.

Department of Agriculture, Doda accorded a grand farewell to Neeraj Sharma, Area Development Officer on his retirement today.
Neeraj Sharma began his journey with the department in 1988 and steadily climbed the ranks, holding various roles from Junior Agriculture Extension Officer to District Agriculture Officer.

Staff and Students of Govt. Hr. Sec. School Bishnah, Jammu organized a function at School premises here today to bid farewell to Tabasum Khan, Lecturer Urdu.
She attained superannuation after serving the education department for about 37 years.
