JAMMU, Aug 12: In order to make the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’ grand successful, Jammu and Kashmir’s largest wholesale grain market- ‘Ware House-Nehru Market Traders Federation’ has decided to provide a Free National Flag to everyone.
Any individual, social or business organization of Jammu and Kashmir can take the National Flag without any cost. The Federation has also decided to distribute Tricolor free of cost among the shopkeepers of its entire Mandi from Tuesday onwards so that the tricolor can be seen waving in the entire Mandi between August 13 to 15.
This was announced by Deepak Gupta, president of the Federation, while addressing a press conference on Monday in the Federation office. Overwhelmed by the enthusiasm shown by the people towards Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, Deepak Gupta said that the initiative started by PM Narendra Modi has started appearing to be like the national festival as each and every citizen in the UT of J&K has been voluntarily hoisting the Tricolours at their homes and business establishments besides replacing their profile pictures with National Flags on social media.
He said that there is easy availability of the National Flags and people are buying the same but to encourage more and more people and to further strengthen the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, the Federation has decided to distribute Tricolor without any cost. He said the Federation wanted that every single person in the UT of J&K unfurl the national flag at his/ her residence and also business establishment.
“We are Indians and it is our responsibility to keep our national unfurling high. We have to make our country proud,” he said. Deepak Gupta said that it is a pride moment for all Indians to unfurl the National Flag at their homes to celebrate 77th year of Independence as ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ in a grand way and to facilitate this campaign.
Munish Mahajan, senior vice president of the Traders Federation, Abhimanyu Gupta, junior vice president, Sham Langer general secretary, Vishal Gupta -secretary and Rattan Lal Gupta, former president of Traders Federation were also present at the press conference.
