POONCH, Feb 11: The police arrested an absconder who was evading arrest for the last about few years.
A police spokesman said that a police party led by SHO Poonch, Rakesh Akram raided a hideout and arrested wanted accused from Poonch city. The accused has been identified as Mohd Iashaq, son of Mohd Sharief, resident of Degwar in Poonch. He was wanted in a case FIR No. 43/ 2012. He had been declared absconder by a local court under 512 CrPC.
