Vyeth organises close preview on Padamshri J N Koul’s Biopic

JAMMU, Sept 8: Vyeth a socio-cultural organisation working in the field of art, literature, social work and cause of exiled Pandits under its continued effort of preserving and highlighting the iconic personalities of the KP community organised a close preview of the Biopic of Padamshri Pt. J N Koul under its serial production Profile of Progeny.
Interacting with the media ex MLC, and the chief patron of Vyeth, Vijay Bakaya gave a brief account of the working of organisation. He said Kashmiri Pandits after facing exodus in 1990 have not only worked for the survival but have also set exemplary futuristic ways to move ahead. The year 1990 was a threat to the historical, cultural and socio-religious richness of the community but the way the community has laboriously worked not only for itself but for the nation is highly laudable and this will also be recorded in the history, Bakaya added.

Former DG Vigilance Dr Ashok Bhan, while highly eulogising the contribution of Vyeth said that making the Biopics of various personalities living or dead, Prof Virender Rawal, president of Vyeth has immortalised not only the Pandit icons but has also infused a new warmth in the new generation to remain in touch with 6000 year old socio -religious and cultural past.
Former DGP, Kuldeep Khuda while critically analysing the film suggested few additions and alterations in it. He said film is a source of inspiration for youth entrepreneurs and professionals.
Prof Virender Rawal, president of Vyeth and producer of the film said “the support and familiarity the Vyeth is getting from the community who has faced dark times gave me more strength and doubled my determination to work for the betterment of the society”.,
He said “late Pt J N Koul was not only an inspiration for him but also for many others. He was an international figure, an institute in himself and that is why we hope that this Biopic will be screened in foreign countries also”
Dr K L Choudhary a noted physician and writer, Advocate Ravinder Raina, president, ASKPC, Prof B L Zutshi a progressive educationist, P N Shad a well known poet and Anil Dhar senior N C leader were special invitees for the close preview.
Kuldeep Saproo the musician of Biopic, B K Sanyasi, lyricist of the Film and Naina Saproo whose selected music from her various audio CDs has been sued in the Biopic also graced the occasion. Famous singer Altaf Sahil has sung the title song of the Biopic while Ramesh Marhatta conducted the proceedings.
