Jammu, May 17: Vishwakarma Temple Committee (VTC), New Plot here today organised a one day free medical camp.
A team of doctors headed by Dr Kavita Nijhon Verma, along with two interns—Dr Erum and Dr Divyanshi from Indian Red Cross Society provided free consultation and medicines to the visiting patients in the camp.
Specialists in Orthopaedics, Medicine and Eye care were specially invited in the camp where over 100 patients including women and children were examined.
People were made aware that free immunisation for children up to 16 years of age is available at Red Cross Society and all should avail it from there.
The camp was inaugurated by Puran Chargotra, Vice Chairman Vishwakarma Sabha.
Shashi Verma, President, Pradesh Vishwakarma Sabha, Mahinder Pal, O.P Kataria, Joginder Angotra, Balwant Kataria, Subhash Verma, Master Kuldeep Malhotra, Jitender Jajua, Omkar Singh Bose and others were also present on the occasion.
