NEW DELHI, Dec 28: Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Ministers, BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda on Tuesday paid tributes to former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on his birth anniversary.
“Remembering my dear friend Arun Jaitley on his birth anniversary today. He was a towering intellectual, an outstanding parliamentarian, able administrator, legal luminary and gifted orator,” the VP said in a tweet.
Naidu said Jaitley’s selfless service to the nation will be always remembered.
Remembering the former Union Minister, the LS Speaker in a tweet said, “The reforms brought by him in the fields of administrative, law and finance gave a new direction to the country. His progressive ideology will always be an inspiration for the nation.”
“Arun ji with his intellectual skills and experience in areas like law and finance, made incomparable contribution in the development journey of the country,” Union Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted.
Taking to twitter, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh wrote, “Remembering Arun Jaitely ji on his jayanti. He was a seasoned lawyer, astute administrator and an articulate parliamentarian. He always worked towards the betterment of India. His contributions to public life were outstanding. My heartfelt tributes to him on his jayanti.” BJP national president also took to twitter to pay tributes to Arun Jaitley.
In a tweet, Nadda wrote, “Arun ji made an incomparable contribution in the development journey of the country and the organisation with his ability and experience in various capacities in the Government and the party. His life is an inspiration to crores of workers.” (UNI)
