Vote for Congress will be vote for stability: Tara Chand

JAMMU, Apr 10: Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand today said that vote for Congress will be a vote for stability, peace and prosperity of country and Jammu and Kashmir State in particular.
He said that no one except Congress can give nation a stable Government which is the need of hour. The country was passing through most sensitive phase and elections of divisive or communal forces to power would destabilize its economy in a big way.
Seeking votes for former Chief Minister and party candidate from Udhamur-Doda Parliamentary constituency Ghulam Nabi Azad, Tara Chand said that electing communal forces like BJP to power would be biggest ever misadventure in the history.
He was addressing public meetings at village Ransoo, Kotla and adjoining areas of district Reasi.
Tara Chand said that Ghulam Nabi Azad is the son of soil who did many historic works for people of J&K.
Maximum development took place during the tenure of Ghulam Nabi Azad which till date has remained matchless.
He urged people to sense gravity of situation and vote a secular, progressive and visionary political outfit like Congress to power which has a legacy of building nation and bring peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir State in particular.
The kind of development State witnessed in health sector and other fields is par excellence and only Congress can stretch that development further, he added.
Tara Chand asserted that coalition Government in J&K has achieved tremendous success with active support of people.
Former Minister and MLC Jugal Kishore Sharma and former Minister Jagjeevan Lal also addressed the meetings and sought votes for party candidate.
