JAMMU, July 28: Vomedh Theatre and cultural group celebrated it foundation day at GCW auditorium Parade, today.
Vikram Malhotra, general secretary, JKPCC was chief guest on the occasion. Guests of honour included Ramesh Hangloo, social activist and Radio Sharda, Mushtak Kak, senior theaterist, Dr Dinesh Sharma, MD. The program started with National Anthem followed by lamp lighting. Rohit Bhat in his welcome address highlighted the achievements of Vomedh in part 5 years.
On the occasion, 5 people from different walks of life were facilitated for achievement in their respective fileds; Capt Maharaj (actor theaterist), Bashir Dada (actor, producer), Ruhal Kumar (actor), Ashol Sharma (journalist), P N Shadi (poet, hyrist). Also Col Shalinder Dhar was facilitated on the eve of Kargil Diwas.
