NEW DELHI : A BJP member today sought to raise in Lok Sabha the issue of denial of permission to Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) to undertake a yatra to Kounsarnag lake in the valley.
Anurag Thakur said the matter needs to be discussed in the House as the voice of Kashmiri Pandits was not being heard in Jammu and Kashmir as it is a small minority and displaced as well.
He said the matter needed to be discussed urgently as the auspicious period for the yatra will come to an end soon.
Speaker Sumitra Mahajan disallowed him saying it could be taken up next week. (AGENCIES)
