JAMMU, Nov 22: The State Government has promoted two Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) as DIGs and ordered transfer and postings of three others.
According to the order, Bhim Sen Tuti, DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua range has been transferred and posted as DIG Doda-Kishtwar Ramban range, while Rafeeq-ul-Hassan DIG Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban range was transferred and posted as DIG Armed Jammu.
Vivek Gupta, SSP Jammu has been promoted and posted as Incharge DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua range and will also hold the charge of the post of SSP Jammu till further orders, while M Suleman Choudhary, SSP, on repatriation from Anti Corruption Bureau has been transferred and posted as Incharge DIG Udhampur-Reasi range.
Girdhari Lal, Additional SP PCR Jammu has been transferred and posted as Additional SP Nowshera vice Master Popsy, will report to PHQ for further posting.
