JAMMU, Jan 29: On the eve of Vishwakarma Prakash Divas, Pradesh Vishwakarma Sabha (PVS) organized different functions in Jammu city.
The Havan and Poojan were held at Vishwakarma Temple, Gurha (Bakshi Nagar), in which a large number of devotees participated. Similarly, Hawan and Yagna were performed at Digiana Temple.
At Vishwakarma Temple, New Plot, a large number of people started visiting since morning to perform Pooja-Archana. A Satsang was also held during which priest of the temple threw light on the importance of Vishwakarma Pooja.
At Rupia Wala Temple, Panjbakhtar Road, president of the Sabha, Shashi Verma, visited to supervise the celebrations. Like other temples, Havan and Poojan were performed in the temple and Prasad was distributed among the devotees.
Similar functions were also held in Mishriwala (Jammu), Billawar, Kathua, Udhampur and Bari Brahamana.
