UDHAMPUR, Sept 14: Vishavkarma Sabha Udhampur (VSU) organized a function at Vishavkarma Temple and honoured the brilliant students of community.
The function was presided over by Radhey Sham Manhas president of the Vishavkarma Sabha Udhampur, whereas Rashpaul Verma Vice Chairman, J&K Advisory Board for Welfare of OBC was present as chief guest.
About 60 students of community of Udhampur District were honoured for outstanding achievements in their educational examinations. They were awarded with medals, mementos and certificates.
Miss Parul Chalotra D/o Sh Manohar Lal Bharti R/o Panchari , Mr Akhil Dhiman S/o Jodhu Ram R/o Thanoa , Mr Arun Verma S/o Kuldeep Kumar R/o Ramnagar and Mr Anil Kumar S/o Khem Raj R/o Ramnagar were prominent among others who were awarded with prizes.
While addressing the function chief guest appreciated the Vishavkarma Sabha Udhampur. He expressed that these type of functions will definitely encourage the youth and help in channelizing their energy. He also suggested initiating the counseling program for the students.
Sabha president Radhey Sham Manhas thanked distinguished guests and prominent personalities of the Biradri.
Lok Nath, Bodh Raj, Shashi Manhas, Jagdish Kumar, Krishan Chand, Subash Chander, Om Parkash, Romesh Chander Verma, Shankar Verma, Ramesh Kumar, Mohan Lal, Bansi Lal, Jodhu Ram, Mohan Lal Manhas, Jagdev Raj, Madan Lal, Kaka Ram Dogra, Sham Lal, Sunil Dutt, and Om Parkash were prominent among others who addressed the function.
